Citizens of St Kitts and Nevis will go to the polls in two and a half weeks, following Prime Minister Dr Denzil Douglas' announcement of a January 25th election date.

The date was finally revealed after weeks of speculation. The actual date is a week later than the opposition People's Action Movement (PAM) had predicted.

Dr Douglas made the announcement late last night at a mass meeting of his St Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) in the capital, with about 150 young people whom he invited on th… Continue

Fellow Dominicans, friends and well wishers…To God be the glory…Great things he hath done!

We have come to the end of a necessary, but arduous process of electing a new administration, to manage the affairs of government for the next five years. Saint Lucia elections likely in Early 2010

Prime Minister Stephenson King in an attempt to salvage the UWP said that he should call elections in March 2010.

Early predictions show that the UWP may lose five of its eleven seats of which the three most likely seats to be lost are that of the Prime Minister (Castries North) and the two Dennery Seats.

In fact the DenneryNorth MP Marcus Nicholas is awol. Rumours are that he may be in the detention of (or his pasport held by) U.K. Police on suspected assault of a female Saint Lucian student.

Elections in Saint Lucia will most likely take place before the April 2010 Budget

Prime Minister Stephen King in exasperation at the low turnout at a Party celebration in the fishing village in Micoud says that he "..... should call elections in March 2010.

To date our preliminary predictions indicate that the UWP will lose five of their eleven seats which will reverse the results of the 2006 elections in favor of the SLP.

Present trends indicate that the UWP has become very unpopular in the marginal seats of Dennery North and Dennery South, despite efforts to replace the i… Continue
